Everything a family-law case needs, in one structured record

FamilyCasePro keeps case facts, calculations, financial discovery, and document work product in the same place, so the numbers in a draft can be traced back to the data that produced them.

Guided matter creation

Start a matter through a step-by-step wizard that follows the jurisdiction's case-information report: county and court, both parties with contact and attorney details, case number, pleading type, special requirements, and dispute-resolution information. The case name is built from the parties and stays editable.

Thorough client intake

A resumable intake questionnaire collects the facts behind an order and a support calculation. Staff can complete it, clients can complete it themselves, and skipped answers stay visible as outstanding items instead of disappearing.

Traceable support calculations

Calculations run against a versioned jurisdiction ruleset with effective dates and source metadata, and every saved result keeps the ruleset identifier, inputs, worksheet mapping, and calculation path. When authoritative rules data is incomplete, the calculation stays unavailable rather than estimated.

Parenting-time tools

Common schedule presets, school-year and summer splits, long-distance patterns, manual overrides, and generated calendars count actual overnights. An annual allocation must total 365 nights before percentages are shown, so a partial schedule never produces a confident-looking number.

Income & financial discovery

A structured discovery wizard captures income, variable compensation, business and tax information, earning capacity, expenses, assets, liabilities, and marital standard of living, and keeps clear which figures feed child-support analysis, alimony analysis, or both.

Documents & electronic signature

One document center holds generated drafts and uploaded files with categories, versions, and audit history. Requests go out for signature, the completed record is preserved as an immutable version with a certificate, and remote notarization can attach a notarized version without re-uploading.

Pleading & forms navigator

After a matter is created, a guided interview asks what relief is sought and whether an order already exists, then assembles the recommended pleading package with readiness checks and official form references.

Client portal

Clients sign in to their own space to view their matter, submit information, upload documents, and message the firm. Information a client enters is held for attorney review and approval before it affects any calculation or firm record.

Firm isolation and controls

Every record is scoped to the firm that owns it, roles separate firm managers, attorneys, staff, and clients, and platform administration stays separate from firm administration. Sensitive documents live in private storage with short-lived access links.
